Dandenongs Locals

How listings work

Dandenongs Locals lists businesses in the Dandenong Ranges and the foothills below them, from Montrose and Kilsyth round to Gembrook. It's an independent directory, not a council's site or a traders' association's.

Where the details come from

Each listing is built from what the business publishes about itself: its own website, or its own social media page if it has no website. The legal name and ABN come from the Australian Business Register's ABN Lookup. Every business page shows the pages it was built from and the date they were read.

We don't copy reviews, ratings, photos or opening hours, and we don't take details from map apps or other directories. The one-line description on each listing is written here, from the facts.

The order

Every list is A to Z by the business's name. Nobody can pay to move up it, and there are no ratings and no "best of".

Paid placement

A business can pay to appear in a box marked "Featured · paid placement" above a list. It still appears in its usual place in the A to Z. A link from a paid listing is marked as sponsored for search engines.

Corrections and removals

A business can ask to be corrected, added or taken off at any time, and it costs nothing. Use the request form. A business that asks to come off is taken off promptly.
